
Zugspitze is the highest peak in Germany, located in the Bavarian Alps on the border between Germany and Austria. It stands at an elevation of 2,962 meters (9,718 feet) above sea level and is a popular tourist destination, attracting visitors for its stunning views and excellent skiing opportunities.
The mountain is accessible by a cogwheel train from the town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, or by cable car from the Austrian side. Visitors can also hike to the summit, although it is a challenging climb that requires experience and proper equipment.
